Café des futurs et nouveaux parents

The coffee and conversation for new and expecting parents is an opportunity to meet other parents in a friendly setting and reflect on the needs that come with a new baby and the first months of being a parent.

The discussion will be held in French and facilitated by Catherine, who cofounded the Local Familial and holds a doctorate in psychology. There will be a period of individual reflection, with notes each parent will be able to take home, followed by a group discussion to share experiences, needs, and ideas.

Parents whose baby has not yet arrived are also welcome!

For those who are not yet familiar with the Local, the coffee and conversation is also a great opportunity to discover the space. Registration for the event includes access to the Local for the rest of the day.

Coffee, fruit, and pastries will be on offer. Babies are, of course, welcome: we have rockers and cribs available for naps if needed.
