ROOM RENTAL

In addition to offering a community space filled with activities and family accommodations, Le Local Familial also offers a room rental service for children's parties and activities.

Weekday drop-in

As a member of Quebec’s association of community drop-in centres, the Local Familial has a regular drop-in daycare. It is held by an educator trained in first aid, who leads the children in arts and crafts, motor skills activities, and free play. The educator is sometimes supported by a volunteer parent. The Local remains open during the drop-in daycare, giving the children the opportunity to interact naturally with other families in a familiar space.

- Parents are responsible for packing their child's meals and snacks, which can be heated up on site.

-  The drop-in daycare is open to children from 6 months to 5 years of age.

- The ratio is a maximum of 5 children per adult and is adjusted when babies are present to accommodate the needs of each child.

- The service is offered from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a half-day of care.

- A receipt for childcare expenses can be provided.

- Refundable if the reservation is cancelled at least 5 days beforehand.

- For the well-being of all, children with fever or contagious symptoms cannot be accepted.

Pyjama night

Pyjama night - Have a night out or in while your kids have fun at the Local!

The Local Familial's pyjama night takes place from 5 to 9 p.m. and is open to children up to 6 years of age. The children are welcome to arrive in their pjs to get into the swing of the evening.

A meal is included and shared on site. Educators with first-aid training lead calm, fun activities throughout the evening and adapt them to suit the children's age and group dynamic.

Towards the end of the evening, a short film under 30 minutes is shown. Children who wish to can lie down and rest in a cozy corner. We can't promise that your child will be asleep when you arrive, but everything is designed to provide a gentle, soothing experience.

Space is limited to ensure small group sizes and personalized attention for each child.
