Dining at the Local

Snacks made by Hager

Sweet treats are now available for purchase at the Local, baked in house by our pastry chef, Hager. They make a great snack for anyone feeling a little peckish, and they're the perfect accompaniment to a warm cup of coffee or tea, which you can make yourself in our kitchen.

Ready-to-eat meals from Papa Cuisine

Papa Cuisine is the brainchild of a family with young children, just like those who come to the Local. Based on their own experiences, they built a business that aims to offer what they needed but couldn't find:

•    Healthy, easy meals for busy families
•    Kid-friendly food in family-size portions
•   Vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free, and gluten-free options

Their dishes can now be purchased at the Local to heat up and eat on site or to take home. Available in 2-person and 4-person portions, they're great for those moments when everyone's getting hungry but is having too much fun at the Local to leave—or for making dinner a breeze when you get home!

Other ways to dine at the Local

As always, our kitchen remains accessible to all, so you can reheat your food from home (or from local restaurants) or even cook on site if you feel like it.

You can bring your own ingredients and use the basics we have on hand (oil, sugar, salt, etc.) as well as our cooking equipment: oven, microwave, pots and pans, cooking utensils, flatware, dishes, Sodastream, etc.

You're also welcome to get take out from a nearby restaurant and enjoy it at the Local. Regardless of which option you choose, all we ask is that you wash and tidy away what you use and leave the space in the state you found it.
