The Local is a place to go when you need to get out of the house, have a change of scenery, or take a little break. With a membership, you can benefit from free access to our community space, let the kids explore and play, meet other neighbourhood families, and get a member discount on our services.

You're invited to our back-to-school party!
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, our doors will be open to all! It's the perfect opportunity to come discover the Local (and the patio if the weather cooperates). Facilitators will have plenty of activities and crafts to entertain the children.
The event is free, but each person will need a ticket, which can be reserved here.
A team from Home Exchange will be at the Local throughout the day to serve snacks and drinks and chat with you about travelling and home exchange.

It’s often said that it takes a village to raise children.
The Local Familial is a community space for families with young children.
Families come to play, read, craft, have a coffee, meet other parents, or just get out of the house. Kids can explore at their own pace while the adults take a breather, have a chat, or simply enjoy the moment.
Over time, more and more faces become familiar, the children get their bearings, and the Local gradually becomes a familiar spot in the neighbourhood.
You can come just for the day or become a member to benefit from free access to the space and special discounts.
